Kayli Johnson was awarded the 2008 NWAPDA $1000.00 Scholarship. She was
selected based on the criteria set forth from the Scholarship Guidelines.
Kayli is Ken Johnson’s daughter; Ken is employed at Chelan PUD. She will
be attending

For those whom have not have had the joy of setting up a meeting, we should all thank Bob for his work and full time support for APDA functions.

Scheduling - We have voted to have a joint meeting in 2009 Fall. Contact for this scheduling function is Doug Krust. A replacement for Kevin Conway is being sought. If you have time call Doug.
Scholarship - We need to remember that the Scholarship submission date is April 01. It is a solid date so that the recipient can have recognition at their graduation from High School.
Promotional - Scott Downey has been doing the work with this committee and reported that Wally Groff-BPA Dittmer will be helping him with this project. They are presently looking for a new vendor for embroidery.
A BIG NOTE: Much discussion on the fact that meeting fee checks need to be made out to the Host Person>>>>not APDA as it is impossible to deposit them.

Bob Wesselink meeting organizer, Gayle Taylor the NW APDA webmaster and Marck Robinson from Power Data Corporation again deserve a personal Thank You from the members for their work on this meeting, the NW APDA webpage and membership database.

Norm Stanley PAC/Columbia Grid, Passed Away suddenly a very well known APDA members.
Doug Stewart Health issues
Terry Enmark AESO has had a long battle with heart, but is on the upswing and will soon retire

Discuss with the membership that a motion will be made at the fall meeting to have two Scholarships presented. If you cannot attend please send correspondence to the Secretary on what your thought are with the NW APDA funds. Training and hosting are increasing in cost, but other ideas need to be considered.
In Closing ? Let?s try and keep attendance up. Be sure to thank your supervisors? for their support to the APDA. Any ideas for improving attendance will be considered.
