APDA 2006 Spring National Meeting

 The Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Area Spring Meeting was held in Port Washington, Wisconsin on May 4 & 5, 2006.  The meeting was hosted by We Energies.

 Technical sessions were: 

 Ø    Operating Decisions Exercise for Emergency Operations utilizing simulation, Matt Sadinsky, CEO of SOS International

Ø    Midwest ISO Dispatch Software, Rich Cobb, Trainer, MISO St. Paul

Ø    Port Washington Generating Station – Past, Present and Future, Tony Bernier, Plant Manager PWGS, We Energies

Ø    Tour of Port Washington Generating Station

 

WUM Area Business Meeting was held on May 5, 2006

  Officers present were:

Past Secretary/Treasurer - Darrell Yohnk
Past Area Trustee - Don Splinter

 

The WUMs Area currently has 109 members.

The WUMs Area fall meeting will be hosted by Wisconsin Public Service Corporation with date and location to be determined.
